Japanese dobby fabric printed in 100% cotton.

The dobby is a cotton fabric weaved with uneven threads, which gives it a unique touch.

The irregular weft creates a textured surface, that resembles the tsumugi silk (also known as raw silk) weaved with the threads obtained from the very end of the silk cocoon,  so that thickness differs from one to another.

We love this uneven fabric, as it completely fits in Japanese aesthetic tradition of finding beauty in imperfection (wabi-sabi).

Mingei (Folk) pattern that includes kanzashi, chidori, and so many traditional japanese motifs in the shape of hexagons, like those of our grandma,s patchwork covers.

Lovely color mix that remind us of the 70´s: dark blue, green, mustard, vanilla...
