Japanese fabric. Bingata phoenix over black.
Background in a deep black in this 100% cotton japanese fabric, with a printed pattern that makes reference to the dying technique of “bingata”, originated in Okinawa.
The bingata style developed a unique series of vivid colors and dynamic patterns, including floral elements and some real and mytological animals, like the phoenix.
Our "Bingata" printed cotton fabrics represent the delicate patterns created centuries ago by okinawan artisans.
In this fabric you will find colorful phoenix, rising from his ashes as symbol of triumph, surrounded by floral motifs (peonies, cherry blossoms).
A very versatile cotton fabric. You’ll be able to use it in your clothes, patchwork projects, or small accessories, decoration, etc.
Combine it with the rest of the colors and patterns available for our "bingata" fabrics!
