Shishi are fierce lions that were placed at the entrances of temples, or houses, as they were considered protective, avoiding bad energies and bad people, as well as evil spirits. 

This fabric is perfect for use as a furoshiki, to give or gift wrapped with it to a loved one, with a protective desire. It will also be perfect for clothing, accessories or decoration.
