Japanese 100% cotton fabric.

Momiji refers to the time of autumn when the leaves of the trees take on beautiful yellow and red tones. This spectacle can be seen especially in the maple woods, at the time of the fall of the leaves (kaede). The motif is formed by printing in ivory on a deep indigo blue background.

Flat fabric made with slightly thick threads, resulting in a lightly open fabric, with some transparency and good drape. This arrangement and thickness of threads transmits a touch of rustic, traditional fabric, reminiscent of those woven by hand. This gives name to this series: "Rustic Indigo"

Perfect, for example, for a kimono cut jacket.

Idea: You can mix different prints from this series with fabrics from your favorite old jeans, and give them a second life in the form of a jacket, bag, or patch them up using the sashiko technique. If you need sashiko needles and threads, you can find them HERE

Enjoy this fabric also in garments, accessories or decoration.
