Japanese cotton fabric 'Bunnies' in blue
Japanese 100% cotton fabric. Dark blue background with a pattern of bunnies. So kawaii!
This motif is often used in Japan, sometimes linked to the moon, because there, the drawing we see on the moon, is interpreted as the image of a bunny making mochi (rice flour candy). At the full moon in September, there is a festival linked to the crops, the moon and, of course, the bunny that lives there.
The background is printed in two shades of blue, imitating the relief of the dobby fabric, even though it is a regular flat fabric.
