One tier Bento box (lunch box) Shokado for Osechi Ryori
Shokado one tier square box. Textured plastic material imitating wood.
One tier shokado bento box, traditional design. In plastic material with a wooden texture, it is a square bento box with a removable tray with compartments and overlapping lid.
This type of presentation bento is common in Japanese restaurants, and in Japanese homes to make up Osechi Ryori, the meal eaten to celebrate the arrival of the new year.
The shokado are not primarily designed to carry food, but to present it, so their lids are overlapping rather than snapped on, and they do not have an elastic band.
Its inner tray, in red, imitates traditional lacquered trays. It allows the food to be separated thanks to its five compartments.
