Lightweight fabric in a cotton (80%) and silk (20%) mix. Caressing touch and wonderful drape for this Japanese fabric.
Naomi ITO is a renowned Japanese watercolorist and designer. Her collaborations with the textile sector have resulted in the NANI IRO line (Nani, is the word for "beautiful" in Hawaii, and Iro means "color" in Japanese), with spectacular motifs, such as this "New Morning".
Nani Iro is known for its careful design, and for the quality of its fabrics. Always innovating as to the type of fabric, or mixture of components, this is the first fabric they launch in a mixture of cotton and silk. Cotton contributes its naturalness and freshness, and silk, the drape, the very soft touch and the delicate aspect.
Caribbean blue background and golden highlights.
"The energetic and refreshing air like a new morning where the flowers bloom one after another -.
I have rhythmically painted countless flowers starting to bloom in the garden".

Width: The width is different from what we are used to with the brand's fabrics: a generous 120 cm, so we can adapt it to a wider variety of patterns.
TO NOTE: As in most of Naomi Ito's designs, the motif is framed by two plain stripes, in the background colour, on the sides of the fabric. In this case, these strips measure about 9-10 cm. On one side, information about the author and the model's name appears in gold, about 9 cm from the edge. Some people choose to integrate this information into the garment, and some do not. Depending on your case, you will have to take it into account when fitting the pieces of your pattern.
