Japanese koinobori (carp kite) 'Papa Koi' in black
Funny "Papa Koi" kite. This kite, or windsock in the shape of a koi fish evokes the design of the traditional koinobori. The well-known French brand Madame Mo, invites us with this design to its world full of magic, color and good humor.
Koinobori kites decorate Japanese homes every year on May 5, during the celebration of Kodomo no hi (こどもの日) or Children's Day. Parents express their desire that their children grow up healthy and strong, and have a long, prosperous and happy life.
Thus, we take up this beautiful meaning, so that each koinobori brings our wish for health, strength and prosperity to those who receive it.
They can be used in the traditional way, for example hanging from a bamboo reed on the edge of the balcony. They will also look beautiful adorning any corner, hanging on the wall. When you want to change, you can sew the top and bottom, remove the ring they have in their mouth, and fill them, using them also as a cushion.
Koinobori are a fantastic gift of birth.
