Night Book is a LED lamp in book form. It does not have a switch, but lights up automatically when you take it out of its case. You can place it between books, and every time you gently pull its spine, it will light up, creating a cosy and poetic atmosphere.

The concept behind the object is 'to create a moment'. By using the Night book, you create a situation to feel at ease, enjoying conversations with family and friends, relaxing while tasting some food or drinks.

Its light, emitted from both sides of the body, has a temperature of 3000k, which produces a relaxing sensation. Sitting next to it calmly will make you immerse yourself in a warm atmosphere. You can use it as a table light in a studio, or as a ambient light.

The spine is made of natural leather. Over time, it will take on the feel and colour of old books, and each time you use your Night Book you will like it more.

Designed by the Akii Design Lab studio, a duo formed by Naoki Iwamatsu and Takaaki maeda. It has won numerous design awards, including the iF Design Award 2019, DIA Top 100 Award and the DFA Design For Asia Award 2018.

The production of each lamp is manual, by the artisans of the company Y.S.M., who have great experience in the field of lighting.

Its cover, made of steel, is available in three colours: white, grey and navy blue.

The power supply is produced by means of a cable, located at the back of the lamp. Its consumption is 4W. It has a plug with an adapter.
