Hina Matsuri Altar (Girls' Festival)

Japanese decorative altar for the celebration of Hina Matsuri, or Girls' Festival.

Every 3rd March, Hina Matsuri is celebrated in Japan to ask for health and prosperity for the girls in the family.

The ceramic figurines of the Emperor and Empress are 6 cm and 4.5 cm high, respectively.

This decorative altar also includes an 8.5 x 6cm stand, a golden cardboard screen and a wooden plaque with the commemorative motif (Hina Matsuri) written in hiragana characters.
