Hakuho is a Japanese artist's paper, in natural white for watercolour. 

From the well-known Awagami brand, this watercolour paper is part of the "Awagami green Papers", because:

• It is acid-free
• It is made without cutting down a single tree, from fast-growing shrubby plants.
• It is not bleached with chlorine compounds.
• No OBAs (Optical Brightening Agents) are used to obtain brighter whites.
• Waste is avoided as much as possible.
