Japanese cotton dobby fabric of chidori birds and uroko in blue.
Japanese 100% cotton fabric. Dobby fabric, with threads of irregular thickness, which gives a special texture to the fabric.
'Uroko' graphic motif, triangles representing the skin of a dragon or a fish. It was frequently used by samurai, as "protective scales" that would repel bad luck, protecting them from their attackers.
Some of the triangles are transformed into little birds. They are known as Chidori (plovers), in red, white, and pearl grey.

Machine wash it at low temperature, delicate cycle, and better the other way round, so that it lasts a long time. Do not use bleach or whiteners, very gentle spin cycle, low temperature ironing.
It is recommended to wash before use. Cotton fabrics can shrink up to 5%.
